World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The item upgrade feature allows players to upgrade their equipment. This can be accomplished by any item upgrader NPC.
Upgrades boost the stats of an item, and can also add extras based on its type. Examples include Whistan's shield for FB sorcs, or Goldwrap for build casters.
Armour
Armour is one of the main factors that keep Link protected from injury in the majority of situations. While it can't be upgraded like weapons, it can still be improved in different ways to improve its defence capabilities.

Weapons
You can upgrade your guns by using special upgrades that make them truly unique. These upgrades can boost damage or alter the performance of the weapon in accordance with your build. They can also unlock new attachments, such as unique enchantments and different kinds of ammunition, and aesthetic options.
To upgrade item upgrades 'll require an upgrade component ready as well as the item itself. The weapon must be at least an appropriate level to upgrade it. Most weapons only be upgraded by one upgrade.
Weapon upgrade components are available scattered throughout the world, from a variety of sources, including merchants or enemies. These items are particularly useful for characters that were forced to leave their home or are in a location in which they are not welcome. A magical item could provide them with invisibility or make them invisible for everyone except the chosen person.
Utility Items
Utility items are those that do not fit into the categories of Clothing, Armor or Weapons and offer various capabilities. Unlike Armor and Weapons and Clothing, no utility item is able to be in conflict with another. Most utility items come with a passive effect that the player can activate when using them. However, some have additional abilities that can be activated by pressing a button or triggering a skill.
The Flashlight is the most commonly used utility item. It illuminates the area around it. Other items of utility include the Helicopter Hat and Rocket Boots, which allow the player to float in the air while moving, and the Jetpack, which allows players to accelerate in any direction while on the ground. In the Engineering section, you can quickly create a variety of useful items, while others are unlocked by research projects or experimental projects on the Proving Ground.
Players can unlock more powerful utility items in addition to the items available in their regular inventory by purchasing them from the Atomic Shop or from seasonal Scoreboard rewards. Certain of these items are upgradeable to make them more effective.
The majority of utility items boost a specific combat attribute or give the player some sort of advantage in navigation. For example, Sharpening stones crafted by the Weaponsmith boost Ferocity and Power, while Maintenance Oils crafted by the Huntsman boost the concentration and healing power. XCOM soldiers can equip a single utility item to begin the campaign. A second slot is available after completing certain research, engineering, or research projects on the Proving Ground. During the Alien Hunters DLC, additional slots are created by equipping the Grenade Launcher which allows the player to equip a Smoke Grenade or Bomb in an additional grenade slot while an offensive grenade can be placed in the main grenade slot.
