Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations can be applied.
For example, the elite racial shield Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb function in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item, such as a weapon, armor or ring. The item is swapped for another similar item with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. However, they don't retain the quality of the original item, and any wasted resources won't be compensated for.
The survivors can get reroll tokens in several ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or purchased from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of a piece of equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.
Players can roll their equipment in three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage done by weapons and melee attacks, while spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional amount of health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a better quality and requires an upgraded reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens that are placed on action spaces remains on the space till the next Success is being rerolled. This helps you avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the start of each preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. When they are opened, they will display a description and icon for the appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls, and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These stones are special stones that boost the value of an item by improving its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. In addition, players can get these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". The menu will appear showing the item's current level and what it will be when being leveled up, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.
After deciding on the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. When the requirements are satisfied, the user can then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can last anywhere from seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is risk-free and doesn't affect the item's durability. This is an excellent choice for those who want to get an edge in combat, but don't want to burden their wallets. Additionally players can transfer experience and the progress of an upgraded item to a new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are several ways to acquire the stones. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets players increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will gain an upgraded level. This process can continue until the item is at its highest level.
Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon next to their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components cannot be stacked with one another, and can only be added to a single item at one time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a certain number of items to be applied and an initial amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add items to be upgraded. On the right side, an image of the gear looks like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when the player has enough materials will start the upgrading process.
A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum level, its upgrades will not be available to it. Also, when an item reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to that track will come with discounts.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools in order to provide an additional effect or bonus while the equipment is in use. They can be bought through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will damage the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs which can be removed and replaced at will.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to increase certain stats of weapons and armor they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ depending on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium and the number of Upgrade Tokens.
Upgrades to items can be incorporated into equipment set pieces and weapons for additional effects or to increase the quality item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component has been placed into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.
The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components have additional modifiers which can further increase the stats of an item.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases the base defense and adds an additional 20 percent chance to block. The dps "Wildfire" however increases damage from weapons.
Some items are better off being upgraded not so much for their improved stats and more for the fact that it allows players to gain the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
When you select an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will show an open window that displays the necessary requirements. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will place an item in your inventory after you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how far you are towards finishing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrade r NPC.
